The School Day

Pupils are encouraged to arrive at school from 7.30am.

A first bell is rung at 7.55am and a second at 8am.

There are assemblies throughout the week for all

pupils who are in the Foundation Class and above.

Pupils finish school according to their age:

Early Years Foundation Stage [Nursery, Foundation and

Reception] finish school at 12.15pm

Key Stage 1 [Years 1 and 2] finish school at 1.20pm

Key Stage 2 [Years 3,4,5 and 6] finish school at 2pm

Key Stages 3 and 4 [Years 7,8,9,10 and 11] finish school

at 2.40pm

There are two breaks during the day. The 1^st is at 10.00am

and the 2^nd at 12.20pm.

A range of after school activities is available to pupils in

most age ranges. After School Activities last for one hour

which means the oldest pupils finish school at 3.40pm if

they take an After School Activity.

Pupils must be collected promptly by a parent or authorized

person. The authorised person must have the official collection

card. Parents must inform the school if the collection arrangements

for their child changes or if they need to leave school early for any

reason. Parents must also inform the school of absences during

the school term.

The School Year

The school follows the 3 term pattern traditional to the Northern Hemisphere.

Autumn Term: early September to mid December

Spring Term: early January to mid April

Summer Term: late April to early July

It is important that all pupils start and complete each term

of the year.

Half Term dates are published to parents in hard copy as

well as on the school website.

Nigerian Public holidays are observed parents are informed

as soon as possible.

The school observes Nigerian Public Holidays. Parents are notified of the exact dates as soon as possible.
