NORWEGIAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL was established in 1983 by Eastern Bulkcem Company, a then subsidiary of a Norwegian Company (NORCEM Cement) for the sole education of the expatriate children of the Company.
On the 20th of November 1998, the school was incorporated as Norwegian International School Limited.
NIS Limited is today a very strong educational brand of international repute. And we owe a world of gratitude to the pioneer administrator and director of NIS, Frances Elizabeth Hennigan.
